Midwest Ska/Reggae Band is Bringing the Sunshine West this Winter

The west coast of Wisconsin isn’t typically thought of as a hotbed of alternative reggae music, however, T.U.G.G. (pronounced tug) hailing from Western Wisconsin has done an admirable job channeling tropical grooves and breezy melodies and has not only become one of the Midwest’s top draws but a top seller as well.  Their latest album, “Come Sunrise” debuted among the Top 50 Reggae albums on iTunes in addition to spending 8 weeks as a Top 5 Seller on the reggae charts of CdBaby.com The album which was produced by Brad from The band The Ziggens (Skunk Records) is a collection of 13 songs that seamlessly floats between reggae, ska, surf an acoustic music. Releasing albums on their own independent record label, Last Call Records T.U.G.G.’s sound is described as a fun and danceable mixture of reggae, rock, and ska. They’ve spent the better part of 2010 earning fans all around the Midwest and Western United States in clubs, bars, colleges and outdoor festivals perfecting their high-energy live show and expanding their loyal fan-base.
