Paul Wright (Vocals/Guitar) What's In Your Playlist?

Iration – Time Bomb

Such a feel good record.  This was my summer anthem last year.  At first listen "Back To Me" was easily my favorite but since all the others have caught up on my playlist.  Love the aloha spirit these guys bring!

Explosions In The Sky - The Earth is not a cold dead place

I first heard this band from the show Friday Night Lights.  This is perfect mood music for reading or just contemplating the deeper things of life.  All instrumental.  I love the guitar tones and how dramatic the drums are.

 Natural Incense - Simple things

I picked up this record for free at Esteem Surf Shop in Pismo Beach, Ca a couple weeks ago and was pleasently surprised.  It feels like a mellow version of rebelution/iration.  I love the honesty in their lyrics and the melodic tatsty treats throughout the entire record.

Bruno Mars - Doo Wops & Hooligans

I love his pop sensebititlies and his reggae undertones.  His voice is amazing to me.  The track I vibe with the most is "Liquor Store Blues" featuring Damian Marley.  The breaks in that song with the dub style delay in his vocals hit my ears just right.

 The Script - The Script

I love the fusion of styles here especially the hip-hop, rock and r&b elements.  His flow is smooth and he has a really high vocal range. The song "Pieces" is genius songwriting.
