Devocean is a SoCal based Reggae/Rock band that was formed in the summer of 2007. The band has influences from many different artists such as Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, Sublime, Pepper, Slightly Stoopid, Jimmy Hendrix, Passafire, Led Zeppelin...etc. Devocean originally started out as an acoustic band consisting of two members Eric Robarge and Garrett Weeks. Later the group decided throw some drums in the mix with Grant Weeks on drums and went mostly electric. Grant was in the band for a short period of time before joining the Coast Guard. Devocean replaced Grant with long time friend Scot Owen. Instantly there was a musical chemistry between Eric (Rhythm guitar/Vocals), Garret (Bass) and Scot (Drums). The three members played together for a few years playing shows all over the Southern California area. Later Garrett left the band and Devocean picked up new bass player Mike Sebourn on Bass. Devocean then wanted to expand their sound and picked up Mike's brother Keith Sebourn on Lead Guitar. The band has been jamming ever since. They are an eager band and wants to expand their music to as many people as possible. They just released their debut album "High Hopes" in Feb 2012.
