After battling through a rough season in 2009 due to a nagging ankle injury, France’s Jeremy Flores returned to form in 2010, claiming his first elite tour win by taking out the coveted Billabong Pipe Masters, the first European surfer ever to do so.
One of the most prodigious names in the sport, Flores was the youngest surfer ever to qualify for the prestigious ASP World Tour at the age of 18 by winning the ASP WQS in 2006. In addition to his finish atop the ‘QS ratings, the polished natural-footer’s 2005 ASP European Title and 2007 ASP Rookie of the Year Award has the entire Euro continent expecting Flores to break down the door for the Euro force.
At only 22 years of age, a fully-healed Jeremy Flores will enter the 2011 ASP World Tour season with four years of experience and a massive victory under his belt, so look for the young Frenchman to hit the ground running with newfound energy this season.
