Bio From: http://www.aspworldtour.com/surfers/mens-profiles/adrian-buchan/

After dominating on the ASP Pro Junior Ranks throughout his young career, Adrian ‘Ace’ Buchan established himself as a top talent on the elite level when he scalped the Quiksilver Pro France in 2008 over Kelly Slater to delay Slater’s ninth ASP World Tour title. Ace’s consistency continued after his maiden victory, earning a career-high 6th place finish on the elite ranks, only to solidify himself as a name in the Top 10 this year by finishing at No. 7.

With several righthand-pointbreaks on the ASP World Tour schedule, this goofy-footer’s refined backhand attack is one of the best in the business and his game continues to improve with each year on tour. After an injury plagued introduction to the elite ranks in 2006, Buchan returned to the Dream Tour by way of an Injury Wildcard and hasn’t looked back since.

In addition to his obvious athleticism, Buchan is also becoming known as a major voice for the sport as an ASP Board Member and also consistently gives his fans a bird’s eye view into the life of a professional surfer with several blog posts within major surfing publications.
